Phil Robertson made the first Duck Commander call in 1972 and got a patent on it in 1973. His home is where he assembled, packaged, and shipped all his duck calls. Since 1973 Duck Commander has sold in all 50 states and in several other countries. He also made videos for his fellow duck hunters to learn his techniques and proper use of the his calls. His sons Willie, Jace, Allen, and Jeptha and is wife Kay help in the business along   with his brother Si. Willie is now the CEO of Duck Dynasty and due to his degree in business Duck Dynasty is now a multi-million dollar company.  Phil's wife, kids, their wives, and some outside help all work at  Duck Dynasty on and off. Jase tunes the duck calls by hand, Si makes the reeds, and  John and Justin build the duck calls.
